Health Ministry: Tainted Milk Powder Not Sold Abroad

The contaminated Sanlu baby milk powder in connection with the country's hundreds of infant kidney stone cases was only sold in the Chinese mainland and Chinese Taiwan, health ministry official Gao Qiang said on Saturday.

"None of the milk powder was exported to other countries or regions," Gao said at a press conference.

"Only a fraction of the milk powder was sold to Taiwan for food processing," he added.
