1,060 Injured Survivors Transferred out of Quake-hit Zone

A total of 1,060 critically injured survivors have been transferred out of quake-hit Yushu in northwest China's Qinghai Province as of 10:00 AM Friday, an official with the Ministry of Health said Friday.
The 7.1-magnitude earthquake, which struck the Yushu County in the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Yushu at 7:49 AM Wednesday, has left 791 dead, 294 missing, and 11,486 injured, including 1,176 serious cases, according to the quake relief headquarters.
