Dominican Republic to Set up 2,600 Temporary Shelters in Haiti

The Dominican Republic's Armed Forces on Thursday began to set up 2,600 temporary shelters for quake victims in Haiti.
The tents will be placed in Fond Parisien, Port-au-Prince and other cities in Haiti, the Armed Forces said in a statement.
The temporary shelters are part of the relief plan of the Armed Forces named "Friendly Hand."
The plan also included the establishment of mobile toilets and water tanks with a capacity of 100-1,000 gallons of water.
The Armed Forces officers will also offer sanitation training for Haitian civilians.
