A plane carrying 52 Haitian children arrived in Canadian capital Ottawa on Wednesday afternoon, the local CBC News reported.
This is the second group of children that have arrived in Canada, whose adoptions have been fast-tracked since the devastating earthquake in Haiti on January 12.
These children's adoptions are in the final stages of approval, and have been cleared by the Haitian government, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Peter Kent said.
The first 24 Haitian children adopted by Canadian families landed in Ottawa International Airport on Sunday.
Haitian officials said the earthquake has killed more than 170,000 people. The Canadian death toll from the disaster has risen to 21, with 147 Canadians still missing.
