Minor Aftershock Jolts Haiti Capital

A minor aftershock jolted the capital of Haiti about midnight Thursday.

A measurement of the aftershock was not available yet. The brief trembler sent some survivors into the streets.

An aftershock measuring 5.9 degrees hit Haiti at 11:00 AM local time (1600 GMT) on Wednesday, causing more injuries.

Officials estimated that the final death toll of the devastating earthquake on January 12 may reach between 100,000 and 200,000.
