The Ministry of Public Security has assigned four peacekeepers to join the relief work in Haiti. They will take the next available chartered flight to the quake ravaged island.

One of the peacekeepers is a police chief at a border checkpoint in Guangdong Province. She will act as a communication officer in Haiti. Recently, she's been listening to audio messages from her daughter from time to time.

Duan Zhonghui, Chinese peacekeeper, said, "My little girl says she wants to donate her new year allowance to Haitian victims. She has grown up."
