3rd Filipino Fatality in Haiti Earthquake Retrieved

The body of another Filipino who died from the earthquake in Haiti was found Tuesday night, the local media reported.
Army Sergeant Eustacio Bermudez, a member of the Philippine peacekeeping contingent, is the third Filipino fatality in the magnitude-7 earthquake in Haiti, according to a report filed by the Inquirer.net Wednesday.
The first two Filipino casualties were identified as Jerome Yap, United Nations staff member serving with the UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti; and Navy Petty Officer Pearlie Panangui, who worked as a data processing technician.
Still missing are Philippine peacekeeping contingent member Sergeant Janice Arocena; and Grace Fabian and Geraldine Lalican, who both worked at the collapsed Carribean Supermarket.
The Philippine foreign affairs department assured efforts are ongoing to rescue the three Filipinos.
