Thailand is monitoring the situation in quake-devastated Haiti to see how the country can additionally help relieve Haitian survivors, Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban said Friday.
Thai government Thursday approved a humanitarian fund of US$20,000 for Haiti in the wake of the powerful quake Tuesday.
Thailand will consider sending more relief fund or military rescuers to Haiti, Suthep said.
