Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad accused Israel on Tuesday of trying to isolate the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) through a campaign against President Mahmoud Abbas and Fayyad's government.

"The Israeli campaign can be explained only as part of a planned effort that openly aims at isolating us internationally," Fayyad told reporters in Ramallah.

Once the PNA is boycotted, "Israel can evade the peace process' requirements," he added.

Earlier this week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Abbas was encouraging terror by naming a key street in Ramallah after a Palestinian militant who killed Israelis in 1978.

Later, Israeli television aired images of Fayyad taking part in burning goods produced in illegal Israeli settlements located in the West Bank.

Fayyad has stressed that the PNA "is determined to take the Israeli settlements' products off the Palestinian markets to boost the national products."

On Tuesday, Fayyad opened "al-Karama Fund," a project aimed to promote the Palestinian commodities.

Israel's continued settlement activities in the West Bank and East Jerusalem hinder peace talks between Israel and the PNA from relaunching.
