Israel's Civil Administration issued zoning notices for nine unauthorized outposts in the West Bank over the last 24 hours, local daily The Jerusalem Post reported Monday on its website.
The illegal outposts include Havat Shaked, Mitzpe Yitzhar, Yitzhar Darom, Ramat Gilad, Hazon David, Kiryat Arba-Hebron, Givat Haroe, Maaleh Rehavam and Mitzpe Lahish, said the report.
It added that according to Israel's Civil Administration, zoning notices are expected to be served to five more outposts over the coming days.
All the nine outposts have previously been served with zoning notices, the last one as recently as in 2007. The notices have all since expired and new ones had to be issued.
Zoning notices are put up on buildings built illegally and are used to inform people that they are residing in an unauthorized area.
Citing Israeli defense officials, the report said the notices had been posted ahead of the planned evacuation of the outposts.
On Sunday, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak declared that Israel will dismantle 22 illegal outposts in the West Bank, and warned that settlers will be evicted forcefully if they resist.
"The 22... have to be dealt with now in a responsible, appropriate manner. First of all, exhausting all efforts at dialogue and if that proves impossible, then unilaterally, using force if necessary," Barak said during the weekly cabinet meeting.
