The Israeli army forces arrested overnight and on early Monday 15 Palestinians during raids all over the West Bank, Palestinian security sources said.

The sources said the Israeli army raids targeted Palestinian homes in the areas of Hebron and Bethlehem in southern West Bank, adding that the detainees were taken to Israeli army bases for interrogation.

Meanwhile, Israeli Radio quoted Israeli army officials as saying that during the Israeli army campaign in the two areas, 15 people were arrested, adding they are wanted by the Israeli security intelligence.

Such arrests have been taking place all over the West Bank almost every day despite mutual security agreements between Israel and the Palestinian National Authority (PNA).

The Palestinian Islamic Hamas movement has slammed the PNA security coordination with Israel in the West Bank, saying that the coordination is aiming at uprooting all kinds of resistance against the Israeli occupation.

Fawzi Barhoum, Hamas spokesman in Gaza, said in a statement that President Mahmoud Abbas should immediately stop all kinds of security coordination with Israel and stop arresting Hamas members.
