Sporadic gunfire was heard on Thursday morning in and around the Gaza City, five days after Israel announced a unilateral ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
On Thursday morning, gunfire was heard on the sea in the western coast of the Gaza City. Local residents said it's the Israeli speedboat that fired against Gazan fishery ships.
But an Israeli military spokesman could not confirm the firing.
Water columns raised by the firing in the sea could be seen very clearly from the hotel accommodates some correspondents of various media. No casualties were reported at the moment.
Local residents said similar incidents also occurred in the past days after the Israeli troops and Palestinian groups announced ceasefire.
