More Prevention Measures Taken for Flood

Areas around Huaihe River in China are expecting more rainfall in the coming days. Local authorities are stepping up efforts to prevent flooding. In east China's Anhui Province, the flood waters in Bengbu city have been drained away through continuous efforts and traffic has returned to normal.

And in Huainan city, the water level of Nihei River has dropped below 18 meters, after the two-day drainage. In Huaibei city, seven task forces have been set up to deal with possible floods.
Local authorities in Bozhou city have conducted several drills to prepare for flood control. So far, water levels in the Huaihe River valley are below the alert levels. Local official are working around clock to deal with any possible emergency.
