Early warning rainstorm alerts fall into four grades, which are indicated respectively in blue, yellow, orange and red.

The rainfall will reach or has reached 50 mm or above in 12 hours and may possibly continue. |

Yellow |
The rainfall will reach or has reached 50 mm or above in 6 hours and may possibly continue. |
|
Orange |
The rainfall will reach or has reached 50 mm or above in 3 hours and may possibly continue. |
|
Red |
The rainfall will reach or has reached 100 mm or above in 3 hours and may possibly continue. |
