The Britain's growth forecast is adjusted to 0.75 percent in 2008, Alistair Darling, the Chancellor, said on Monday in his Pre-Budget Report to the House of Commons.
The economy will continue to fall in the first two quarters in 2009, with a contract between 0.75 percent to 1.25 percent, Darling said.
The British economy will manage to recover in 2010, when the economy is forecast to grow by 1.5 percent to 2 percent, the Chancellor said.
