Moderate Tremor Struck May 12 Quake Epicenter

An earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter Scales struck Wenchuan County in southwest China's Sichuan Province at 10:41 AM on Friday, local seismological department said.

Tremor was felt according to local residents, with no report of casualties by press time.

Wenchuan was the epicenter of the deadly May 12 earthquake which killed 69,000 by Monday noon, with 18,195 people injured and 374,216 still reported missing.
