Quake Orphans Regain Smile, Confidence

Lin Dicheng (L) plays with a friend in a tent at Guantan Village in Jushui Town of Anxian County, southwest China's Sichuan Province, July 8, 2008. Three-year-old Lin's parents were dead in the May 12 quake when they were working in the town. More than 1,000 children in Sichuan became orphans after the quake devastated many areas of the province. Most of the orphans have been taken home by their relatives and have gradually recovered from the sufferings. More and more children have regained smile and confidence with the help from their relatives and the society.
