Quake Death Toll Stands at 69,185

The death toll of China's major earthquake still stood at Tuesday's figure of 69,185 as of Wednesday noon, the State Council Information Office said.

The number of the injured remained unchanged from Sunday's 374,171 and people reported missing dropped from Tuesday's figure by nine to 18,458 after the 8.0-magnitude quake jolted southwest China's Sichuan Province and neighboring regions on May 12.
