50% Power Supply Resumes in 6 Quake-hit Areas

After ten days of intense efforts, 50 percent of power supply has now resumed in six areas seriously affected by the earthquake.

After ten days of intense efforts, 50 percent of power supply has now resumed in six areas seriously affected by the earthquake.

Luan Jun, Vice GM of State Grid, said, "We've dispatched over 100 people to the six counties to intensify the repairing capability sending teams who are familiar with the power system in the mountainous area."

Six branches of the State grid have been assigned to help resume power supply in the six counties. Nearly 10,000 households were affected by the power shortage. Several repair projects are underway at the same time.
