Quake Death Toll Rises to 69,170

The death toll of China's massive earthquake increased by seven overnight to 69,170 as of Saturday noon, the State Council Information Office said.

A total of 374,159 people were injured and 17,428 others were still missing after the 8.0-magnitude quake rocked southwest China's Sichuan Province and neighboring regions on May 12.
