Bangladesh Youth Organization Holds Rally Mourning Quake Victims

Chinese Bangladesh Youth Organization (CBYO), a student association friendly to China, held a mourning rally on Thursday for earthquake victims in China.

Dozens of students, who are studying or studied Chinese language before in Dhaka University gathered in front of the National Press Club in the city center with a big banner saying "Come on, China."

They stood in silence for one minute for the quake victims and later signed on the banner, expressing their sympathy and blessings for the victims.

"We were deeply shocked at the huge loss of lives in the devastating earthquake in China. Today is exact one month after the quake, we want to express sympathy and wish quick recovery for the victims," Abu Sayed Md. Sayem, one of the organizers said.

The CBYO was established in 2006 and it has about 50 members.
