Gov't Relief Fund for Quake Zone Exceeds 23 Bln Yuan

The government disaster relief fund for China's quake-stricken areas had reached 23.215 billion yuan (US$3.34 billion) as of Friday noon, according to the State Council Information Office.

The fund included 18.699 billion yuan from the central budget and 4.516 billion yuan from the local budget, the office said.
