Gov't Relief Fund for Quake Zone Tops 23 Bln Yuan

The government disaster relief fund for China's quake-stricken areas had exceeded 23.07 billion yuan (US$3.32 billion) as of Tuesday noon, up 41 million yuan from the previous day, according to the State Council Information Office.

The fund included 18.68 billion yuan from the central budget and 4.39 billion yuan from the local budget, the office said.
