Top Political Advisor in Quake-hit Areas

China's top political advisor Jia Qinglin tries to hold a girl in arms at a relief station in Dujiangyan City, southwest China's Sichuan Province, May 30, 2008. Jia, National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) chairman and a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, came to the epicenter Yingxiu Town and worst-hit Dujiangyan City on Friday to direct the relief work and express his sympathy and solicitude for people affected by the 8.0-magnitude quake on May 12.
