Donations to Quake-hit Regions Rise to 24.6 Bln Yuan

As of Friday noon, donations from home and abroad to China's quake-hit regions had reached 24.6 billion yuan (US$3.5 billion), up 3.2 billion yuan from the previous day, according to the Information Office of State Council.

So far, 3 billion yuan had been forwarded to the earthquake-affected areas, the office said.
