33 Roads Still Blocked After Earthquake

Thirty-three roads in China's quake-hit Sichuan Province remained blocked after the May 12 earthquake, said Li Chengyun, vice governor of Sichuan here on Friday.

"Workers are still rushing against time to repair 33 damaged roads, which lead to townships and villages in the worst-hit area, although truck roads to county-level cities have been reopened for traffic," said Li at the press conference held by the Information Office under the State Council.
