Largest Temporary School Set up in Sichuan

The largest temporary school in Sichuan Province has been set up in Mianyang. The school consists of 20 basic classrooms and one-hundred tents. It is able to cater for more than 1,000 primary and middle school students.

Established by the General Equipment Headquarters of the PLA, the Bayi Tents School has enough stationery sets for all students. It is also offering counseling to help children deal with the pain and trauma caused by last Monday's quake. The school says it's planning to provide Internet facilities soon. So far, over 430 students have enrolled.

Fei Baoyi, primary school student said "I will study hard, so as to repay the society and all the kind-hearted people."
