Relief goods donated by the Pakistani government to China's quake-hit Sichuan Province arrived in the provincial capital of Chengdu Friday night, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
The goods weighing 10 tons include tents, food, medicine and drinking water worth US$1 million.
Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani have sent letters of condolence to Chinese President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao, and visited Chinese Embassy in Islamabad to express their willing to provide assistance to the Chinese side.
Pakistani Red Crescent Society has donated US$50,000 to the Red Cross Society of China. Pakistani diplomats in China have also donated 10,000 yuan to the quake-hit areas.
