Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani said Wednesday Pakistan will send relief goods including medicines, blankets etc. to China for the earthquake affectees.
Gilani also offered in a Radio and Television message to send a make-shift hospital to help the earthquake affectees in China, the official Associated Press of Pakistan reported.
He expressed his deep shock and grief over the loss of precious lives in the tragic earthquake that hit China on Monday.
"The Pakistani nation and the government share the grief of people and government of China in this critical hour," he said.
Gilani also mentioned the strong and deep-rooted relations that exist between Pakistan and China and said, "China is a time-tested friend of Pakistan. We have strong relations with China which are continuing from generation to generation."
The death toll from Monday's earthquake had risen to 14,866 by 2:00 PM on Wednesday.
