Pakistan, Turkish Company Sign Agreement for Wind Energy Generation

Pakistan and a Turkish company on Saturday signed an agreement for wind energy generation, the News Network International news agency reported.
The Federal Minister for Water and Power of Pakistan Raja Pervez Ashraf and chief executive of the Turkish company signed the energy deal in Islamabad, said the report.
Raja Pervez Ashraf said on the occasion that Pakistan and Turkey enjoyed historic and deep-rooted relations. He expressed the confidence that the agreement would pave the way for more foreign and private investment in the power sector.
The Turkish company expressed confidence over the resilience of Pakistan's economy and future.
