Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso will attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in the Swiss resort town of Davos on Friday, said Chief Cabinet Secretary Takeo Kawamura on Thursday.
During his three-day stay there, Aso will address the forum on the steps Japan has taken to tackle the ongoing global economic crisis and climate change, said Kawamura.
And the prime minister is expected to hold talks with his British counterpart Gordon Brown on the sidelines and exchange views with business leaders from around the world, the chief government spokesman said.
