Environment ministers from around the world have gathered at the UN Climate Change Conference. The most recognized US campaigner on the issue, former US Vice President Al Gore, also arrived in Copenhagen to attend Monday's meeting.

Gore was expected to view the presentation of a report on melting ice and rising sea levels. The gathering is focused on demands by developing countries that developed nations raise their pledges for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
