The venue hopes to demonstrate that energy reduction can and must be undertaken immediately. The Bella Center is the largest exhibition hall in northern Europe, covering an area of 120 thousand square meters.

The center has invested 2.5 million euros in energy reduction innovations, including ultra-modern technology for heating, ventilation and lighting. It uses 1,700 energy-saving lights and 5,200 new bulbs, which will save an estimated 300 thousand kilowatt hours. It has also installed equipment to adjust air circulation automatically, which will cut energy use for ventilation by half.
