Vice Minister of Commerce, Yi Xiaozhun, says China considers the green industry a big part of future economic development.

Yi was speaking at the latest session of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization General Conference in Vienna where he pointed out that a low-carbon economy, green industries, energy saving and new energy are where the future lies.

The Vice Minister stressed that the government remains committed to conserving resources and protecting the environment, as well as the national strategy of sustainable growth.

Yi Xiaozhun added that China will try to cooperate with developing countries in relevant fields like climate change, science and technology.
