The Earth Journalism Awards honour those in the media (professional journalists and citizen journalists/bloggers) who use their communication skills and influence to promote awareness of and provide new insight into climate change issues - whether it be in their region or in relation to certain key themes - through the production of powerful and eye-opening news and current affairs reports.

Seven regional awards will be given out, along with seven thematic awards, all of which are described below. In addition, the winning stories will be posted on the Internet so that the public may vote on the best story of all, which will then be deemed the winner of a special Global Public Award.

The consultant engineering company Ramboll is hosting "Urban Climate Solutions Tour". Get inspired by the unique Danish energy model and some of the innovative climate adaptation initiatives on this three hour tour on Ørestad, Copenhagen.

Water is a key issue when it comes to climate change. This is already quite apparent in many places. The Seminar will focus on how to adapt to the changes in this context as illustrated in the attached programme.

The seminar is organised in collaboration with COWI and will provide an opportunity to meet key experts, attend the presentations and participate in the discussions. Furthermore there will be an opportunity to see our hydraulic laboratories.

A light dinner will be served and bus transportation to and from DHI / Copenhagen Central Station will be organised.

Attendance is free of charge. However, registration is required. To sign up please send an email to cop15@dhigroup.com with the names of the participants. The registered participants will receive further information about bus transportation and other practical details.
