Workers Build the Highest Part of Xinzang Road in Tibet

 Several soldiers participating in the building work have lunch on the Xinzang Road in construction in Ritu County of Tibet Autonomous Region, on May 2, 2011. Xinzang Road is a plateau road connecting northwest China's Xingjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The workers currently are building the highest part of the road, with an average altitude of 5,000 meters, in the condition of oxygen deficit and cold weather. [Xinhua]
