Fuxi village is one of dozens of ancient townships on the Xiaohe Road, connecting the Yangtze River in central China and Pearl River delta area. The ancient road which was first built in 213 BC facilitated population migration from central China to south China and helped the forming of Cantonese sub-culture. [Xinhua]
