Dainzin Gyayang, a ten-year-old orphan, was brought into the Lijiang Ethnic Orphanage by Tibetan frontier guards in the autumn of 2009. Twenty other children, including Dainzin Gyayang's younger sister, were sent to this orphanage at the same time, where they started a new life, with love and care from "fathers", "mothers", "brothers" and "sisters" in the orphanage. When Dainzin Gyayang was three years old, his father ran away from home, with his mother and younger sister left living a hard life. The two children suffered from losing their mother when she worked at a construction site in 2008 and became orphans. Fortunately, they were saved by frontier guards and sent to the orphanage later. Dainzin Gyayang lives a regular and happy life in the orphanage, learning cultural subjects, painting, martial arts and even vegetable planting. "High stand on the snow mountain, I tell the stars, I tell the moon, many fathers and many mothers now I own, making me happy and I'd like to sing, I love you dad, I love you mom, I am growing thanks to your upbringing, I am growing to be good like your devoting..." Dainzin Gyayang likes to sing the song which he learned in the orphanage. The person he cares the most is his younger sister Cango. "I will be a soldier and protect her when I grow up." He said firmly. [Xinhua]
