Polish Kayak Athlete Fails Drugs Test

Polish kayak competitor Adam Seroczynski, who finished fourth in the K2 1,000m final at the Beijing Olympics, tested positive for clenbuterol during the Games, the PAP news agency reported on Friday.

The Polish Olympic Committee received confirmation from the International Olympic Committee that the B-sample of the test was positive, PAP added.

Seroczynski, 34, won a bronze medal at the 2000 Games in Sydney.
