The Olympic Park in Beijing will be thrown open to citizens free of charge during the upcoming National Day Holiday, which fall between September 28 and October 5, Xinhua News Agency reports.
The Olympic Park will be open everyday from 9am to 7pm during the National Day Holiday, also known as the "Golden Week".
Though the park will admit visitors into the park for free, they are required to pick a ticket to help authorities manage the flow of people and avoid the place from becoming too crowded.
If the number of visitors inside the park is near or over 200,000, the park authority will stop handing out tickets.
The Olympic Park occupies an area of 680 hectares and many major Beijing Olympic venues, such as the National Stadium and the National Aquatics Center are located in it.
