Nepali athletes, who just returned from Beijing, said on Tuesday that the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games was a great success, praising China's excellent organizational work of the Games.
"It was the first Olympic games I participated. I am very happy with the well-organized work by China," Nepal's veteran Taekwondo player Deepak Bista told Xinhua after his arrival in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
"It has been the best Olympics I have ever seen. It is so excellent", he said.
"The Chinese people are very helpful and hospitality", he said, adding that the Olympics village is the best. The volunteers are very kind and help us solve some problems. He said that they are satisfied with food served in the Olympics village.
Nepali athlete Arjun Basnet said it has been the most unforgettable sport events in his life.
"It is the dream of every player to participate in the Olympics. The Beijing Olympics is so amusing that no body will forget it," he said.
He said he was deeply moved by the high-tech opening and closing ceremonies, adding that they worked hard and showed a good discipline in organizing this event.
"One of the delegates from our team lost her camera in the Olympics village. The volunteers found it and brought to the apartment where we were staying. They are very honest and cooperative," he said.
Thousands of Nepali people glued their eyes on television screens to enjoy the sporting carnival in the neighbor country.
"I enjoyed the Olympics very much. China performed best both in organizing and playing. I am very proud of seeing China to win the Olympics," Shyam Koirala, a student from capital Kathmandu told Xinhua.
Nepal's new Prime Minister Prachanda visited Beijing to attend the closing ceremony of the Olympics as his first foreign visit after becoming the prime minister of the new republic in August.
