Survey: 80% Chinese Households Watched Olympic Closing Seremony

More than 80 percent of Chinese households tuned into the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympics Sunday evening, according to AGB Nielsen Media Research.

Statistics from the global media polling group showed that 90 national and local TV channels in China broadcast the ceremony live, attracting about 50 percent of the country's population. The Games' opening ceremony drew 90 percent of the Chinese households.
