Nigeria's Paralympic athletes for next month's Paralympics Games in Beijing Tuesday concluded their movement to South Korea for a three-week training tour, according to the official News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday.

The team airlift began on Saturday and was concluded with the last batch of athletes and officials.

Patrick Ekeji, Director of Sports Development in the National Sports Commission (NSC), is the head of delegation.

The team is made up of 28 athletes and 14 officials.

Nigeria will take part in power lifting, table tennis, wheelchair tennis and track and field.

There are eight power lifters, five table tennis players, one wheel-chair tennis player and 11 for field and track athletes.

Aree Feyisetan, Assistant Coach for power lifting said the team was optimistic of returning from Beijing with many gold medals.

"The training we passed through was tough enough to get us the medals, and you know we have never failed in Paralympics," he said.
