Hong Un Jong of DPRK scored 15.650 points to take the women's vault gold medal at the Beijing Olympic Games on Sunday.

Oksana Chusovitina of Germany got the silver in 15.575 points, and Chinese Cheng Fei settled for the bronze in 15.562 points.
