Romanian rowers Georgeta Andrunache and Viorica Susanu claimed the women's pair title at the Beijing Olympics on Saturday, clocking seven minutes and 20.60 seconds in the final.

Wu You/Gao Yulan from China took the silver in 7:22.28, while Yuliya Bichyk/Natallia Helakh from Belarus got the bronze in 7:22.91.
