Joanne Jackson Lands Bronze in Women's 400m Freestyle

The final of the Women's 400m Freestyle was held at the National Aquatics Center on day three of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games on August 11, 2008. Rebecca Adlington of Great Britain took gold with a time of 4:03.22, beating the "Female Phelps," Joanne Jackson, also from Great Britain, who won bronze with a time of 4:03.52.
