Chilean Delegate Reviews Olympic Games Establishments' Quality

"The constructions are simply amazing," member of the Chilean Olympic delegation to Beijing Pablo Squella said on Thuesday.

Talking from the Olympic Village in Beijing, Squella said that "the amazing facilities prove that the Games begin with the promise of becoming in the best one of the history."

For more than three weeks, the 27 Chilean sportsmen will live in the Olympic Village.

"There are apartments for six and three persons. We as country have three floors, where there are four apartments; three of the small ones and nine big. Tennis player Fernando Gonzalez, for example, will share apartment with Nicolas Massu in one of the three-people apartments," Squella said.

Squella also said that there was a massive arrival of sportsmen to the Olympic Village, so practically it is full. The dinning room has 8,000 square meters.

Each room has air-conditioned, the sheets change is done every three days and the towels are changed every day. Also, they have a computer to work, which is connected with the official data of the Games, Squella said.

The number of TVs depends on the number of the delegation, the same happens with the massage tables, Squella said.

Squella also said that "Bird Nest stadium and Water Cube are two architectonic wonders, monumental; I never imagined they could exist. Also other constructions (are amazing) like the highways and that, are amazing," Squella said.
