Yukifumi Murakami of Japan made the winning distance of 83.15 meters to take the men's javelin throw gold medal at the Asian Games here on Friday.

South Korean Park Jaem Young got the silver in 79.92 and Rinat Tarzumanov of Uzbekistan bagged the bronze in 79.65.
