Serik Mirbekov and Gerasim Kochnev of Uzbekistan won the men's canoe double 1000m gold medal at the Asian Games here on Thursday.

The Uzbek duo clocked in the winning time of 3:34.248, beating Chinese Huang Maoxing and Xie Weiyong to second in 3:34.289, while Kazakhstan's Mikhail Yemelyanov and Timofey Yemelyanov got the bronze in 3:41.399.
