Ahmadreza Talebian of Iran won the men's kayak single 1000m gold medal in 3:34.256 at the Asian Games here on Thursday.

Chinese Pan Yao got the silver in 3:38.160, and Aleksandr Parol of Kyrgyzstan and Japanese Yasuhiro Suzuki shared the bronze medal.
